Chak de India= Indian Women Hockey Team= Jharkhand( Jungle), Mizoram,Manipur(Chinese,Chilly sauce)=South India(Tamil, Telugu)=Haryana(Cow,bulls)=Punjab(short tempered)= Senior players(bossy attitude)=Strong script and direction=Good camera work=Decent editing( except for once or twice)= Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Rukh Khan( Kabir Khan-d coach)= Excellent acting= Great entertainment=Must Watch
This film does everything that Indian cricket team fails to do. Why cant the men in blue forget themselves, seniority, records, endorsements for the game and for the country. Women Hockey is a dying sport in our country and the film does good justice to the issues faced by players on and off the field.
Go to your nearby local theatre and you will get a feel of watching a live match and over excited fans. Multiplexes of course expect people to behave in a particular manner.
Do not miss clapping/whistling or both on those typical Hindi deshbhakti movie dialogues like :
-Peeche se nahi - mard ho to saamne se vaar karo, Hockey me chakke nahi hote
-pehli baar kisi gore ko India ka flag lehrate hue dekh raha hun
-ache player ki hi achi kismat hoti hai
-silver medal ko gold banane ke liye ghis raha hun

Chak De is not only a movie...it also represents the true character of today's India...young, vibrant, extremely diverse but pulsating with energy and confidence...THATS OUR INDIA
all we need is direction...and believe me...once we have that...we deliver the best...look at the success stories of HCL, Infosys etc...they became world beaters
just beacuase of the fact that they believed in themselves and scripted their success stories...instead of working for an MNC..they turned their once small set ups into MNCs...
OK>>>now the most important part...lets stop thinking that India is all about UP, Bihar, MP, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra etc...and every South Indian is not Madrasi...and people from North East are GUESTS...they are as much Indian as anybody from Lucknow, Delhi, Patna or Mumbai...lets try to convince them...WHEN MOMOS CAN WIN OUR HEARTS...WHY NOT PEOPLE WHO HAVE BROUGHT IT HERE ?

in oldder days the term 'chak de' was used by chefs in punjab to chukhify the preparations made by them
also in this movie shahrukh, indian hockey team and producers will chakh(enge) the taste of success
